Every listing on Expatray must comply with local laws and our platform guidelines. Listings that breach these rules are removed without notice and repeated violations lead to permanent account suspension. When in doubt, do not list it.

Many service categories, including beauty, healthcare, legal advice, financial services, and education, require a valid licence or professional certification in the country where you operate. You must hold the relevant credentials before listing. Proof may be requested at any point during or after verification.

Regulatory requirements vary significantly by country. A service that needs no permit in one location may be strictly regulated, or outright prohibited, in another. Before listing in a new country, research the local rules for your specific service category. Ignorance of local law is not an accepted defence.

Verified sellers earn a trust badge, rank higher in search results, and convert more browsers into bookings. Submit your identity verification as soon as your listing is live. Do not wait for your first inquiry.

Listings with clear, professional photos attract significantly more views and bookings. Include your workspace, tools, certifications on the wall, or examples of finished work. Give buyers a reason to click.

Research comparable services in your area before setting rates. Offer two or three pricing tiers to suit different budgets. A well-structured pricing table converts more buyers and reduces back-and-forth negotiation.

Buyers move on quickly. Sellers who respond to inquiries within an hour consistently outperform those who take longer. Fast response times are a ranking signal and a sign of professionalism buyers notice.
