How to Delete Your Data from ExpatTray

If you no longer wish to use ExpatTray and want your personal data removed, you can delete your account directly from your account settings. This applies to all users, including those who signed up using Facebook Login, Google Login, or email registration.

Steps to Delete Your Account

1. Log in to your ExpatTray account at expatray.com.
2. Navigate to Settings from your dashboard.
3. Scroll to Manage Account and click the Manage button.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Enter your password to confirm.
6. Your account will be scheduled for deletion.

What Happens After Deletion

• Your account is immediately deactivated and you are logged out.
• All your active listings and bookings are cancelled.
• Your personal data (name, email, profile information, messages) is anonymized within 60 days.
• Transaction records required for tax and legal compliance are retained for up to 7 years as required by law, but are disassociated from your identity.
• KYC/AML verification records are retained as required by applicable anti-money laundering regulations.

Facebook Users

If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can also request data deletion directly from Facebook:

1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy > Settings.
2. Click Apps and Websites.
3. Find ExpatTray and click Remove.
4. Facebook will notify us to delete your data.

Alternatively, follow the steps above to delete your account directly from ExpatTray.

Cannot Access Your Account?

If you are unable to log in or access your account settings, you can request data deletion by contacting us:

• Email: support@expatray.com
• Subject line: Data Deletion Request

Please include the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days as required by applicable data protection laws (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA).

Your Rights

Under GDPR (EU/EEA), UK GDPR, and other applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Request deletion of your personal data
• Request access to data we hold about you
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Object to processing of your data
